Google just released their Google Talk (GT) Instant Messenger. I downloaded it about an hour ago and installed it. It is REALLY nice if you want less clutter, ads, etc, and just want to chat (or talk). Included is the ability to voice chat with other GT users if you have a mic hooked up to your computer. I’m waiting now for my associates to get home from work so I can test the voice feature. I will post a comment with my opinion of that.
To use Google Talk, you do have to have a GMail account. If you don’t have any GMail friends who can send you an invite, send me an email: dude@hyperial.com and I will send you an invite so you can signup for GMail.
