Heard rumor about this car. Looked up more information on Saturn’s site and it looks like it’s going to become a reality in 2006. As usual, the production will most likely be scaled back in looks. BUT, this car is VERY closely based on the European VauxHall VX220 and Opel Speedster… So it may keep the looks.
Saturn plans on bringing this vehicle out in the 20-25k price range. Not too shabby for a 170hp, 5speed, Ecotec V-4… More powerful than the Mazda Miata and Toyota MR2.
It will be interesting to see how this turns out in early ’06.
